Delta Chi of the Month

Devin is a Software Engineering student from Encinitas, California. In his free time he loves surfing, going to the gym, and working on personal projects. In the future he hopes to work as a Software Engineer where he can use his skills to create impactful solutions to solve the worlds problems.

Alumni Spotlight

Delta Chi would like to honor recent alumnus, Pavin Virdee who constantly pushes the boundaries of excellence in their field. Pavin is from San Ramon, CA, and currently resides in Chicago, IL where he works at Google to design cellular 5G technologies. He also owns end-to-end technologies in the Google Pixel and was a key responsible engineer for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro released last week.

In his time here at Cal Poly, Pavin completed his Bachelor's ('21) and Masters ('22) in Electrical Engineering (4+1 program) while also teaching his own Electrical Engineering Lab. During this time he acquired three technical publications while simultaneously serving as Delta Chi's own Sergeant at Arms (Risk Manager), WOW Leader, Service Chairman, SAFER representative, and Conduct Chair.

In his free time, Pavin enjoys learning, fitness, reading, writing, teaching, and sports. Additionally, Pavin has partnered with Google and the local community to provide teaching support, mentorship, and STEM resources to local K-12 schools.

We look forward to seeing what Pavin continues to do as he embodies the very essence of Delta Chi and recognize the immeasurable impact he's made to our organization.
